We are makers of rustic, industrial and modern furniture, doors and not-so-tiny custom-made homes from salvaged timber. We are also avid timber merchants and buy and sell timber and other interesting items gathered from salvages. Click here to read more about us and our values.

We are located in Knysna, along the Garden Route, in sunny South Africa.

Do you keep stock or do you only make-to-order?
For certain classes of items we do keep stock, such as the timber and gifts (antiques and collectibles).
Regarding our furniture department, while we do occasionally keep stock, the majority of our work is made-to-order and created according to the specifications and aesthetic preferences of the client.
Can I request a custom piece of furniture?
Absolutely! We specialize in bespoke creations. Our team is ready to work with you to bring your vision to life.
How do I acquire a quotation and/or order something? What is the process?
The easiest way is to find and then send me pictures of items similar to what you want, along with size requirements and any other details like wood type, color, or texture. You can find inspiration on my website or anywhere online.
If you have detailed plans or specs, that’s great, but not absolutely necessary. I just need a clear idea, and I can handle the rest. If you’re unsure, we can generate ideas based on your needs and aesthetic preferences.
Once we agree on the concept, I’ll send through the quote, estimated project completion time, and shipping details if applicable.
Can I track the progress of my bespoke furniture order?
Yes, you will receive regular updates and photographs of the progress of your item and notified as soon as it is completed and ready for shipment. We aim to keep you informed at every stage of the process.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we can ship your product internationally. Please note that shipping costs can vary substantially even over short periods of time and some countries may have restrictions on importing timber products. Check your local customs office to be sure.
Do you collaborate with interior designers and other design professionals?
Yes, we welcome collaborations with interior designers, decorators and other professionals. Our team can work with you to fulfill specific project requirements. Contact us to discuss.
